Friday night my friend Peter Daily (check out his music on myspace) put me on the list for a show at the Casbah. Not having really looked into it at all, I figured that he was playing with his band. I stopped by Caleb and Rocky Green’s show, then headed on down to the Casbah. I was in for a big surprise…
Though still nameless, the new album is coming along quite nicely. I am recording with the incredibly talented Aaron Bowen, a clever producer and quirky friend. I had the most interesting day today. Life’s a trip. I woke up in the best mood today! I’m not sure why– I had no plans & I overslept (again), big surprise. I was thinking of going swing dancing, but those plans fell through. I used to swing dance all the time! I miss it! I don’t have anyone to go with anymore, and I don’t really like going without a date. It makes me nervous! A few years ago, I used to wear the typical vintage dresses and red lipstick all the time. (I really over-did the red lipstick, much to my chagrin). It was a lovely time, though… there’s naught much happier than swing dancing.
