Is anyone else seriously disturbed by Regina Spektor’s new video?  I love her songs… and the last video made me cry (the one where she’s having tea w/ an imaginary man)… but I don’t know about having a bunch of women dress up like up you and dance around.  It’s a little too much for me.  Usually I can handle really artsy things like that… but this one is just STRANGE.  And it doesn’t make sense with the song unless she is talking about kissing herself.  The lighting is great.. love the colours… but, again, twenty-or-so Regina Spektors dancing around in a field… disturbing.

1. Don’t date famous people.  Then, if it doesn’t work out, you won’t have to see their %@*# (insert expletive) face on the telly.  Fame is really over-rated.  If you stick to this rule, you can write blogs about your ex that include details, that aren’t cryptic, and that are satisfyingly bitter and insulting.  If you violate this rule, you’ll end up feeling sick to your stomach at 3 am when you suddenly get smacked in the face with the visage of someone you were intent on forgetting existed.

2. Follow rule #1.
