Oh, Canada

Natalie and I had a short layover in Vancouver, Canada.  We decided to look around in all of the overpriced shops and ended up chatting with the MAC counter girl.

Her name is Madoka.  She was super sweet and offered to do Natalie’s makeup!  This took up about an hour and and we had a jolly chat about music.

This is Natalie after her makeover…

Gorgeous, eh?

OH– there were lots of interesting things to look at in the airport, including this ginormous bird!

Hi Cousin, Martha and Herman were my 2nd aunt and uncle. You have Canadian relatives, my side were all from Vancourver. Your family is from Magdeburg Germany, you probably know all about it now that I think because Nancy traveled all over in Germany. You went to school with Kasey and Amanda. I really like “Nightgale” also.

“The artist has an enormous role in the enhancement of today’s and the creation of tomorrow’s reality. He operates in a rank in advance of science as to the necessities and requirements of man. The elevation of a culture can be measured directly by the numbers of its people working in the field of aesthetics.”

I love you
