Gayle, Malia and V.J. at Lesats, June 17th. I have been blessed with wonderful friends. V.J. and Malia are both incredibly talented musicians/songwriters/performers who share with me a love (alright, obsession) with Harry Potter, music, and theology. We have made a corporate decision to replace “dude” with “goog,” and believe that the “R.B.” in the 6th Harry P. book stands for “Remus Blupin.”
This jolly photo of me playing the banjo was taken by John Hancock. Really! I played on Saturday, July 21st, at the Saturday Backyard series in Escondido. Unfortunately the man who booked the show passed away on Friday the 20th. His name was David Mathieu and he was a man who loved the Lord and supported the arts.

This is my good friend Suzy. I’ve known her for about ten years. She and her boyfriend David came to my gig at the Mississippi Pizza Co. in Portland, OR. David gave me a Gibson electric guitar & practice amp. How sweet is that?!
